Overview

Har Ki Dun, the "Valley of Gods," is one of the most picturesque and spiritually significant trekking destinations in Uttarakhand. The trek offers a perfect blend of adventure, nature, and spirituality, with breathtaking views, lush meadows, crystal-clear streams, and ancient cultural heritage. The route is associated with the Mahabharata and is believed to be the path taken by the Pandavas to ascend to heaven.

Itinerary

  • Day 1: Dehradun to Sankri – Scenic drive through the Himalayas. Overnight in Sankri.
  • Day 2: Sankri to Taluka (by road), then trek to Seema/Osla – Trek through pine forests and riverside trails. Camp at Seema/Osla.
  • Day 3: Seema/Osla to Har Ki Dun – Trek through alpine meadows and ancient villages. Camp at Har Ki Dun.
  • Day 4: Explore Har Ki Dun Valley – Visit Jaundhar Glacier/Maninda Tal. Enjoy panoramic views and relax in the valley.
  • Day 5: Har Ki Dun to Seema/Osla – Return trek through scenic landscapes. Camp at Seema/Osla.
  • Day 6: Seema/Osla to Taluka, drive to Sankri – Trek and drive back to Sankri. Overnight stay.
  • Day 7: Sankri to Dehradun – Drive back, trek ends.
